Alpe Devero is part of Veglia-Devero Natural Park, in the village of Baceno at 1.650 metres above sea level. Excursionists and mountain lovers visit this area all year round. The wide glacial valley is surrounded by pastures and coniferous forests, dominated by Mount Cervandone.
You can encounter a wide fauna in Devero: fawns, chamois, deers, alpine ibexes, groundhogs; often you can see eagles and buzzards fly and sometimes the mountain pheasant, too.
The flora is rich and beautiful with rhododendrons, gentians, anemones, alpine stars and many beautiful flowers that in spring and summer transform Devero into a wonderful garden.
